My Story

I've always been passionate about creating, and Ioved Art from a young age. I come from a 'making' background, as my Dad's family consist of generations of bookbinders. I graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 2010, with a joint honours degree in Craft Design and History of Art, where I specialised into Ceramics, Glass and Metals. My work has won many awards, including an RDS National Craft Award and Craft Graduate of the Year.

I adore using glass and clay to create compositions of different shapes, colours and textures, exploring the natural proportions found in nature. The repetition and pattern that I create in my work is a comfort to me, a response to the unpredictability of the outside world.

 Each piece is carefully made in my home studio in Sallins, Co. Kildare. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and appears in many public and private collections, including the State Art Collection.
